Aug 10, 2018 RJ Lehmann on FDA's Milk Rules Tackling a Milky Subject Today - FDA Interpretations of Milk

  • Aug 10, 2018
It's Friday! Sadly, for our row crop producers, it's also WASDE day, and USDA dropped some bombshells on the grain markets, with soybeans hardest hit. We'll run through the numbers and take a look at today's closes. Also, lots of noise about trade to end the week, but very little progress with either Japan or Mexico, so we'll wait another week to see if anything gets moving. Lehmann from the R Street Institute joins Mike and Delaney to wade through the current definitions and what this change might look like. Be sure to follow our social media tomorrow as Mike and Delaney compete in the Governor's Charity Steer Show at the Iowa State Fair!

Even though most 'corn-belt' farmers don't see foreign labor in the fields like one would in California, immigrants are still important to the rural economy.
